Frequently Asked Questions about the Gift Card
How much does a La Casa del Desierto gift card cost?
A night for two costs 285€ from Sunday to Thursday and 385€ on Fridays and Saturdays. You can give several nights as gifts and add any extras you like.
How long is the voucher valid for?
It is valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. We recommend booking your stay as soon as possible, as the house is unique and dates sell out quickly, especially on weekends.
How do I redeem the gift card?
The person who receives the voucher contacts us by email or WhatsApp with the voucher number, checks the available dates, and chooses their preferred date within the validity period. We then confirm the booking.
Can I give the voucher as a gift for our anniversary and choose the date later?
Yes. The voucher is undated: you buy it today and book the night later, whenever it suits you and there is availability.
What happens if there is no availability on the date I want?
The house only has one accommodation, so dates fill up quickly. We suggest the closest alternatives within the 6-month validity period. That’s why it’s best to book in advance.
Can I cancel, change the date, or extend the voucher?
The gift card cancellation and extension of validity are not permitted. Once the stay date is confirmed, it cannot be changed. You can consult the full conditions in our cancellation policies.
Can I add an extra item after purchasing the voucher?
No. Extras are chosen when you purchase the voucher and are reflected on it. If you want to complete the gift, add them when making your purchase.
Is guided astronomical observation always available?
No. It depends on monitor availability, so when you request the voucher we’ll check and confirm if it can be included. If it’s not possible, you can add the telescope to use on your own (80€).
When will I receive the gift card?
Within 24 hours of payment confirmation, via email or WhatsApp, with the name of the lucky person and your dedication.
How many people is it for?
The prices shown are for a stay for 2 people. The 4×4 route is also for 2 people; if someone else joins, it’s 50€ per additional person.
When is the payment made?
Payment is made before the gift card is prepared and sent.
